Eugenio Gaeta was born in Salerno, Italy, in 1978. He received his PHD in biomedical engineering in 2012 at “Universidad Politecnica de Madrid”, he received also the laurea degree in computer science from the “Universitá La Sapienza di Roma” in 2005.
He participates in the development and technical supervision of R&D projects in the areas of: mobile applications, wearable sensors, info-mobility services, services for people with special needs and heart rate monitoring for medical and sports applications. His current research interests include: wearable sensor and biomedical signal analysis, mobile Health application, quantum computing.
He is the author of several technical papers in journals, national and international conferences in these areas. He was also collaborating in: the European Project Ask-It for info-mobility services, AEGIS for Java accessibility.
