MSc. Álvaro Belmar is a Computer Engineer by the Universidad de Alicante (2019), specialty in computing. He obtained the Msc. in Biomedical Engineering by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2020), specialty in biomedical technologies. His expertise is in the areas of interactive graphics systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
He joined the Life Supporting Technologies (LifeSTech) in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as a researcher in 2020. His current focus area is the development and implementation of interoperable platforms for healthcare, specifically generic, interoperable microservices platforms that support Big Data and artificial intelligence. He is currently participating and developing software for the GATEKEEPER project (H2020).
