Javier del Río is an electronic engineer from Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). He completed his final degree project at Cajal Institute (IC) in the Neurehabilitation Group, where he designed a sensor calibration system for an exoskeleton.
He is currently specializing in the biomedical field by pursuing a master's degree in biomedical engineering at Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). His master's thesis focuses on brain-computer interfaces.
In April 2023, Javier joined LST as a member of the ODIN project (H2020), which aims to outline the plan for the hospital of the future. The project involves the integration of IoT, Robotics, AI, and Data to address clinical, logistical, and emergency needs in 6 hospitals across Europe.
