NATURALIST PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

BETTER EARTH THAN MARS

PHOTO AWARD PAOLA MARZOTTO

Theme:

Fractals in Nature

The photographer Paola Marzotto, founder of Eye-V Gallery, together with the research group Life Supporting Technologies from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, announces the BETTER EARTH THAN MARS photography competition, open for entries until 30 April 2023.

Natural Fractals are infinitely self-similar iterated and detailed forms that can be found in Nature. Such forms, when been split into parts, each displays a reduced-size copy of the whole. This competition seeks to reward images of stunning forms and patterns from the natural world which exhibits these attributes, to illustrate the high degree of intelligence of Mother Nature. The aim of the artworks is to increase awareness around the incredible beauty of our Natural World.

A jury made up of people of recognized prestige in the world of art and photography will be in charge of evaluating the participants to define three winners.

The top photographs will be published on the organizers’ website and social networks to enhance opportunities for exposure and recognition. We therefore encourage all interested parties to participate and be part of this global space to inspire, raise awareness and motivate national and international audiences.
