She has relevant experience in both the public and private sector in the fields of strategic communication, public affairs, institucional relationships and international development cooperation.
She was in charge of the Communication Department of the Argentine Mining Secretariat from 2005 to 2008. Furthermore, she was the Communication, Institutional Relationships and Cooperation Director for the United Nations in the Argentine Ministry of Planning, Public Investments and Services from 2008 to 2010. Recently, she has worked as the Head of the Coordination and Management Department in the Parliament Secretary of the Congress of Argentina.
Her relationship with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid began a long time ago when she was invited to be the Latin America Regional Integration Coordinator in 2008, a position she held until 2013. Nowadays, she assists the Life Supporting Technologies Research Group in communication issues.
In all her positions she has successfully faced the challenge of designing and implementing communication strategic plans, coordinating multidisciplinary groups, empowering relationships with key stakeholders, and managing mass media and press in the environment of public affairs.
In the private field, Ivana is founding partner of a consulting firm specialized in communication and she counsels different companies such as Banco Provincia, Puro Fuego Producciones, Fundación Provivienda Social and CASEMI, among many others.
