Ana M. Ugena received the qualification of Licenciado (Higher Sc. degree) in Ciencias Mathematicas and the Magíster en Análisis Avanzados de Datos y Construcción de Modelos from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, in 1987 and 2004 respectively and her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid in 1997. She is a full Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
Her research interests involve pattern recognition, artificial neural networks or fuzzy neural networks.
